GHI hosts a variety of events on Ohio State's campus!  These include film screenings, conferences, speakers, and advocacy trainings.

Signature Events

Capitol Hill Days
GHI and Population Connection partner together in the spring for Capitol Hill Days in Washington, D.C.!  Students spend 3 days learning about advocacy, international family planning, and child and maternal health. We end the weekend by visiting our representatives and lobbying for international women's reproductive rights. This trip is FREE when you apply for the scholarship through Population Connection!

Research Mix and Mingle

This event in the spring semester provides an opportunity for students to meet with faculty and researchers in a variety of fields to discuss their findings, methods of research and ways to get involved. We partner with the Office of Undergraduate Research and Arts and Sciences Career Services to make this event a success!

Pre-Professional 101
This casual networking event connects underclassmen with upperclassmen, graduate, and professional students in various tracks, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary, social work, public health, physical therapy and occupational therapy, and more! We provide a space for students to chat and exchange advice and experiences related to majors and career plans.
