Co-President My name is Melinda Dang, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am from Cleveland, OH. I'm a junior in public health - sociology, with minors in women's and gender studies and Asian American studies. There's so many interests that I have, but some of my greatest passions are health disparities, serving underserved populations (people of color, LGBTQ+), mental health, and sexual health. I am also involved with MUNDO and the Young Scholars Program, and I volunteer at Equitas Health.

Mac Patrick

Co-President My name is Mac Patrick (she/her/hers), and I’m a third-year Political Science major and Women's Studies minor from Columbus, Ohio. I mentor at the Boys and Girls Club of Columbus and read to children through Nationwide's Reach Out and Read Program. In my free time I travel, hike, eat and binge watch Netflix.

Co-Chair of International Volunteering My name is Iman Quadri (she/her/hers) and my hometown is Dayton, OH. I'm a 2nd year majoring in biochemistry on the pre-med track, with a minor in global public health. Additionally, I'm part of the Biological Science Scholars program at OSU. I think global public health is a really pressing issue today, and I'm passionate about equalizing access to affordable and proper healthcare. I really enjoy seeing new places and learning about other cultures.

Co-Chair of International Volunteering Hi my name is Annika Aebker and I am a third year majoring in Public Health and minoring in Medical Humanities. Along with GHI, I am also involved with the Club Tennis team here at OSU and US Together, the refugee resettlement agency here in Columbus. I love to travel and I am looking forward to helping plan the international volunteering trips this year!

Co-Chair of Event Planning Hello! My name is Aneesha Patel (pictured on the right) and I am currently a second year majoring in Environmental Public Health with a minor in Medical Humanities. I am incredibly passionate about researching how water quality affects health in third world countries as well as working with immigrant and refugee populations. Besides GHI, I am a part of the Health Sciences Scholars program and am on the College of Public Health's Leadership Council.

Co-Chair of Event Planning My name is Megan Frank (she/her/hers) and I'm from Zanesville, OH. I’m a 3rd year Biology major and am part of the Health Sciences Scholars program. My passion is to help people understand the need that those in other countries have for better healthcare, and the steps we as Americans can take to improve their lives. I'm also involved in Volunteers Around the World and UNICEF. My interests are reading, meeting new people, thrifting, and spending time with friends.

This summer I worked with the Fight4HER campaign and I am very passionate about women's reproductive rights. In my free time I like to work with ceramics go hiking!

Co-Chair of Local Volunteering My name is Emma Rillero, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I’m from Hudson, Ohio. I am a third year majoring in Environmental Public Health with a minor in Development Studies. I am also in UNICEF and a tutor for refugee kids. I love traveling, hiking and watching Parks and Rec. I hope to one day help people learn how important the environment is to our health and how we can in return help the environment.

Chair of Education Outreach I am a 4th year Environmental Public Health student from Ashtabula, OH. I spent my summer at two part-time jobs alleviating food insecurity and Public Health education. With the Children’s Hunger Alliance, I was a Physical Activity Educator; providing PE programming to day camps in the city. I was also in in Olde Towne East managing Four Seasons City Farm, a non-profit farm that serves the East community through organic farming practices.

Treasurer Hi! My name is Dana Saul; my pronouns are she/her/hers. I’m from Cincinnati, OH and I’m majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences. I am involved in 4Paws for Ability and Exercise is Medicine as well as Global Health Initiative on campus. I’m apart of GHI, because I passionately care about people and believe everyone should be able to receive proper healthcare so they can live their best lives. My interests are nutrition, fitness, baking and hanging out with my friends!
